Who Am I
A full-stack engineer studying Computer Science at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, in partnership with the University of Buckingham. I care about the seams — where data, machine learning, and infrastructure meet.
I've spent the past few years building products across commerce platforms, healthcare systems, and cloud-native applications — the kind of work that starts in the database and ends in a working, deployed system.
As a Research and Development Intern at ASA Bolnica, I built and deployed a Node.js + NGINX solution to convert UDP streams into HLS, reducing server load by roughly 60–70% and lowering stream failure rates. As an AWS Cloud Computing Intern, I worked hands-on with EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda — work that led me to AI-engineer an AI-powered learning platform using RAG and chunking pipelines on scalable cloud infrastructure.
My work tends to move between AI engineering and data science: predictive models with explainability at their core (XGBoost, Random Forest, SHAP, LIME), business intelligence systems built on proper star-schema design, and full-stack platforms — like a production-grade healthcare booking app — architected to hold up under real users, not just demos.
Outside of work: playing piano and accordion, the gym, and enough half-built startup ideas to fill a second portfolio. Bosnia's mountains get whatever time is left.
